A tent city is being set up at Yatra base camp Baltal Nunwan in Pahalgam. 10,000 tents will be set up at both places. More than 20 thousand devotees will stay in each tent city at a time. The authorities have made complete arrangements for this. Each route has separate charges for facilities and tents.

The prices of horses, palanquins, pittu etc. up to the cave were also fixed. Amarnath Yatra will start from July 1. It lasts for 62 days and ends on August 31 on Raksha Bandhan. No advance booking is required for tents. Tents are available for rent on site. In some tents four, in some six and 10 devotees are arranged to sit. Langar service is completely free.
