India, South-East Asia, Middle East, Africa, CBRE Chairman, CEO Anshuman Magazine said that in the changing near-term growth scenario, supported by favorable market conditions, the premium and luxury segments are expected to retain their attractiveness.
Sales of luxury homes in Delhi-NCR have also increased.
According to the data, luxury home sales in Delhi-NCR are expected to increase to 5,530 units by 2023 from 1,860 units last year.
In Mumbai Rs. Sales of luxury homes in the Rs 4 crore and above price bracket increased from 3,390 units to 4,190 units. Sales of luxury residential properties in Hyderabad increased from 1,240 units to 2,030 units.
In Pune.. last year saw sales of 450 units, but in 2022 it will be 190 units. Sales of luxury homes in Bengaluru remained steady at 265 units last year.
In Kolkata, sales of luxury homes increased marginally from 300 units to 310 units. In Chennai too, sales of 150 units in 2022 have increased marginally from 160 units last year.
It is growing at 9 percent every year
According to CBRE data, total home sales across all price ranges are expected to cross 3,22,000 units in 2023. It registers an annual growth of 9 percent.
Continued momentum in demand has led developers to launch 3,13,000 new housing units in 2023, reflecting a growth of 6 percent year-on-year.
