365Telugu.com online news, Hyderabad, January 24, 2025: Hitex, Madhapur will host three exciting expos from January 31st to February 2nd: Petex, India’s largest pet trade fair; Kids Fair; and the inaugural Kids Business Carnival. These events, running for three days, will bring together pet enthusiasts, kids, and entrepreneurs under one roof.

In a press conference at Hitex, Mr. TG Srikanth, Business Head of Hitex, shared that Petex, supported by Carniwel, will feature over 60 exhibitors, including international participants from Turkey, Czech Republic, Japan, Singapore, and Germany. The event will attract pet lovers, pet parents, and animal enthusiasts. Visitors will get to witness over 70 varieties of ornamental fish, horses, birds, the International Cat Championship, a dog fashion show, agility and obedience demonstrations by K9 School, and free basic grooming for dogs by Scoopy Scrub.

The Indian Cat Club will organize the prestigious Cat Championship, showcasing more than 200 varieties of cats, including rare breeds like the Maine Coon, priced between Rs. 1.1 lakh to 2 lakh, and the British Shorthair, priced between Rs. 80,000 and Rs. 1.5 lakh.

The Kids Expo, now in its 17th edition and supported by Akshayakalpa Organic, will host over 60 exhibitors, offering products and services related to children’s education, career development, personality growth, and engaging activities.

For the first time, a Kids Business Carnival will be held on February 1st and 2nd, supported by Meru International School. This carnival will highlight the entrepreneurial spirit of children through business plan competitions and displays of innovative products such as DIY robotic projects, magnetic bookmarks, pebble art, and student-authored books. A total of 90 “kidpreneurs” are expected to participate.

Additionally, the Kids Run event, featuring three race categories (4K, 2K, and 1K), will take place on February 1st at 5 pm. Over 1000 kids, aged between 3 and 13 years, are expected to take part.

The 6th edition of the Masqati India Bake Show will also be hosted throughout the event, with the winner receiving a Rs. 1.4 lakh cash prize.

Over 25,000 visitors are expected to attend these events. Tickets are available at Rs. 399 if purchased before January 31st, and Rs. 449 after that. Tickets can be booked online through BookMyShow and Paytm Insider.

An investor meeting is also scheduled for the first day of the event, with five prominent investors, including Mr. Kuldeep Mirani (Co-founder & CEO of Beyond Seed), Mr. Rameswar Misra (Co-founder & CEO of Bigphi Technologies), and Dr. Madhurita Gupta (Founder & CEO of Goa Angel Network), attending to explore investment opportunities.

Exhibitors from 12 states and five countries will participate, and more than 2500 business visitors are pre-registered for Petex.

These events are supported by various organizations, including Manchester Global School, Sabala Millets, Rainbow Hospitals, and more.

In the press conference, Mr. Srikanth noted that India’s pet care industry is still in its early stages but is steadily growing. He highlighted that pet adoption is much higher in Western countries, with Germany being one of the top adopters. He also emphasized the therapeutic benefits of pet ownership, including lower anxiety levels.

Ms. Anushka Potay, founder of the NGO Adoptions of Hyderabad, will drive the dog and cat adoption efforts during the event.

Archana Pai, Communication and Strategy Manager at Meru International, explained that the Kids Business Carnival aims to foster future-ready children by nurturing entrepreneurial skills.

Mr. JS Rama Krishna, Business Head of Growel Feeds, emphasized that pets teach responsibility, and children who grow up with pets tend to develop important life skills, including discipline.

Mr. Anthony Wright of Manchester Global School introduced their innovative school that features a Space Lab, Sky Observatory, and South India’s largest school library.

Aizah Mir of NASR Polo shared their mission to introduce children to horse riding and polo, highlighting the physical and emotional benefits of equestrian sports, including building strength, discipline, and confidence.
