365telugu.com online news,National, October 8th, 2025: IndiGo, India’s leading airline, has launched direct long-haul flights connecting Mumbai, India, to Copenhagen, Denmark, marking its entry into Scandinavia. This follows the successful introduction of long-haul services to Manchester and Amsterdam in July 2025.
Operating thrice weekly, the flights utilize Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, wet-leased from Norse Atlantic Airways, featuring a dual-class configuration with Economy Class and IndiGoStretch, IndiGo’s premium business offering.
Copenhagen is now IndiGo’s fourth European destination after Istanbul, Manchester, and Amsterdam, with London and Athens to follow, reinforcing IndiGo’s growth as a global aviation player and its commitment to enhancing India’s connectivity with key international hubs.
This new route connects Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai with Copenhagen Airport, Scandinavia’s busiest and one of Europe’s oldest international airports.

It offers Indian travelers seamless access to Nordic destinations while opening IndiGo’s extensive network of over 90 Indian destinations to Scandinavian travelers.
