Which Regions Were Affected?
According to Downdetector.com, the outage primarily affected users in the United States, Europe, and parts of Asia. Instagram’s Direct Messaging (DMs), Stories, Feed Loading, and Login Services were reported to be down for many users.

Meta’s Official Response
Meta, the parent company of Instagram, acknowledged the issue and stated,
“Some users experienced difficulties accessing Instagram. Our team worked quickly to resolve the issue.”
Soon after, reports confirmed that services were gradually being restored.
