Navneet Kaur: The Hockey Star
Navneet Kaur, who makes the hockey ball dance on her stick, has won numerous medals. She has played in 12 national-level competitions and is also a national umpire. Navneet Kaur has played a key role in empowering women’s hockey in Khagaria and has brought recognition to the district.

Tanishka & Parineeta: True Sisters Making History in Badminton
In badminton, the district’s pride lies in the achievements of real-life sisters, Tanishka Randhir and Parineeta Randhir, from Sahouli. Their journey began in 2018, and they have never looked back since.
In January 2025, Parineeta Randhir became the runner-up in the Under-15 Girls’ category at the state-level badminton tournament. In 2024, at the SGFI state-level badminton championship in Muzaffarpur, she emerged as the champion in the Under-14 Girls’ category, while her sister, Tanishka Randhir, won the Under-17 category.
