Organized by the International Schools Sports Organisation (ISSO)—officially endorsed by the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) and the International School Sport Federation (ISF)—this championship is India’s premier platform for international-curriculum schools, serving as a vital bridge from national competition to global sporting excellence.

Co-hosted by Indus International School, Hyderabad, which provided exceptional academic, logistical, and hospitality support, the event leverages the Olympic-grade infrastructure of Gachibowli Stadium to deliver a world-class experience across all track and field disciplines.

The grand opening featured a vibrant march-past, the solemn ISSO Athlete’s Oath, and the ceremonial torch lighting, heralding three days of high-intensity competition from October 30 to November 1. Athletes will compete in sprints, relays, distance races, long jump, high jump, shot put, and javelin across Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 categories for both boys and girls.
