365Telugu.com online news,Hyderabad, May 22, 2025: Reliance Jio has solidified its position as India’s digital frontrunner, leading the charge in both 5G deployment and data consumption. With over one million 5G cells deployed, covering more than 80% of India’s 5G infrastructure, Jio now boasts a user base of over 191 million 5G subscribers—making it the largest 5G network in the country.

Jio’s dominance is evident in its share of India’s wireless data traffic, handling a staggering 45% of the nation’s total data. According to a recent ICICI Securities report, Jio is strategically positioned to monetise the next wave of 5G growth, powered by heavy data usage, unlimited 5G plans, and the aggressive rollout of Fiber to the Home (FTTH).

Jio’s annual data consumption has touched nearly 200 Exabytes, marking a 20% year-on-year increase, placing India ahead of even global data giants like China. In Q4 FY25, Jio added 6.1 million new subscribers, with ARPU rising to ₹206, a 13.5% YoY increase. The FTTH segment also continues to gain momentum, driven by the high data demands of home users.

Despite an increase in operational costs (network expenses rose 7% YoY to ₹84 billion), Jio is actively investing in enterprise-grade 5G solutions such as network slicing, private 5G networks, and low-latency applications. These innovations aim to introduce new pricing models and unlock future revenue opportunities—mirroring Jio’s 4G success story.

With industry-leading infrastructure, exponential data growth, and growing enterprise solutions, Jio stands as the powerhouse behind India’s digital transformation.
