365Telugu.com online news,Hyderabad, May 30, 2025:Reliance Jio continues to assert its leadership in the Andhra Pradesh (AP) telecom circle, which includes both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, with remarkable subscriber gains across wireless mobility, wireline broadband, and 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) segments, as highlighted in TRAI’s April 2025 report.
In the competitive wireless (mobile) category, Jio emerged as the top performer, adding 95,310 new subscribers in April 2025. Its user base grew from 3,17,76,074 in March to 3,18,71,384 in April. Bharti Airtel added 42,600 subscribers, BSNL added 1,715, and Vodafone Idea saw a net loss of 9,058 subscribers during the same period.
This strong performance reaffirms Jio’s popularity and competitive edge in the AP telecom circle, solidifying its position as the leading mobile operator.

Jio Fiber: Unrivalled Growth in Wireline Broadband
Reliance Jio’s wireline broadband service, Jio Fiber, continued its upward trajectory, adding over 54,000 new subscribers in April 2025, bringing its total user base in the AP circle to around 1.66 million. In comparison, Bharti Airtel added approximately 18,000 subscribers, while BSNL’s growth remained minimal.
Jio Fiber’s growth is driven by its extensive fiber network, affordable plans, and superior service quality, expanding its footprint across both urban and semi-urban areas.
Jio AirFiber: 80% Market Share in 5G FWA
In the rapidly growing 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) segment, Jio AirFiber has captured more than 80% market share in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Its subscriber base in the AP circle surged from 427,439 in January 2025 to over 523,000 in April, contributing to a national subscriber base of 6.14 million.
Jio AirFiber’s robust growth is powered by its swift 5G rollout, competitive pricing, and ability to provide high-speed internet in rural and semi-urban areas where traditional fiber connectivity is challenging.
