This partnership, pending regulatory approvals for Starlink’s operations in the country, will enable Jio to integrate Starlink’s satellite internet solutions into its offerings, further strengthening its commitment to providing seamless connectivity across India.

Under this agreement, Jio will distribute Starlink solutions through its extensive retail network and online platforms. Leveraging Jio’s position as the world’s largest mobile operator in terms of data consumption and SpaceX’s expertise in low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite internet technology, the collaboration aims to deliver high-speed, reliable broadband services even in the most remote areas of India.
Jio will not only offer Starlink equipment through its retail outlets but will also set up dedicated support mechanisms for customer service, installation, and activation. By integrating Starlink, Jio will enhance its existing broadband portfolio, which includes JioAirFiber and JioFiber, ensuring fast and affordable internet access in geographically challenging locations.
Both companies are also exploring additional areas of cooperation to leverage their respective infrastructure, further strengthening India’s digital ecosystem.
