This adjustment comes as the Indian automotive sector continues to grapple with rising expenses. The precise increase will vary depending on the specific model and variant.
This marks JSW MG Motor India’s second price revision in 2025, following a previous hike of up to 3% across its portfolio in January, also attributed to rising input and external factors.
The broader Indian car industry has seen multiple price adjustments this year, with several major automakers, including Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, and Tata Motors, implementing similar increases due to rising raw material costs, operational expenses, and inflationary pressures.

The company’s current product offerings in India include popular models such as the Astor, Hector, Gloster, and its electric vehicle range comprising the Comet EV, ZS EV, and Windsor EV.
JSW MG Motor India recently reported robust sales, with 6,304 units sold in May 2025, marking a 40% year-on-year growth. The MG Windsor EV has notably emerged as the country’s top-selling EV, contributing to the brand’s 28% market share in the electric vehicle segment in May 2025.
