According to trade reports, the film has exceeded expectations in other languages and is being received brilliantly. This movie has collected more than 10 crores in Telugu states in just two days and is now creating a sensation. “Kantara” stars Rishabh Shetty as the protagonist.
Kantara, which translates to “spiritual forest”, tells the story of Bhuta, a local deity who, in 1870, struck a deal with a king to grant forest land to tribal members. A few years later, the king’s son dies at the hands of a demon, who becomes jealous and demands the country back. According to trade sources, the Telugu and Hindi versions of the film have exceeded expectations at the box office.
Trade expert Taran Adarsh tweeted that the sales of the Hindi version of Kantara increased significantly on the second day. It collected 4.2 crores in two days. According to box office tracking website Andhra Box Office, the Telugu version of the film has collected Rs 10 crore in Telugu states in just two days.
