365Telugu.com online news,Khammam, March 13, 2025: A shocking claim has surfaced, alleging veteran actor Mohan Babu’s involvement in the tragic death of actress Soundarya and her brother Amarnath, who lost their lives in a helicopter crash in April 2004.
Edurugatla Chittimallu, a resident of Satyanarayanapuram in Khammam rural mandal, filed a complaint with the Khammam rural police on March 10, accusing Mohan Babu of orchestrating the crash.

He claimed that the actor harbored a grudge against Soundarya after she refused to hand over a six-acre farmhouse in Jalpally, Shamshabad, Hyderabad, which he allegedly wanted.
According to Chittimallu, the Telangana government should seize the property, which Mohan Babu is allegedly occupying illegally, and allocate it for social welfare, such as for orphans, army personnel, police, or media professionals.
He also demanded justice for Mohan Babu’s younger son, Manchu Manoj, urging authorities to take appropriate action against Mohan Babu.
In a video message, Chittimallu stated that he has been on a deeksha (protest fast) for the past 400 days, surviving only on green leaves.

Meanwhile, Soundarya’s husband, Raghu, dismissed Chittimallu’s allegations, asserting that Mohan Babu had not encroached upon any of Soundarya’s properties. As of now, the police have not registered any FIR regarding the complaint.
