365Telugu.com online news, Hyderabad, October 27th, 2024:The 17th National Competition of Kolor Champ ’24, a celebration of young artistic talent from across India, was held at the SR Classic Convention in Shamshabad, Hyderabad. Organized by SIP Academy’s Globalart program, this vibrant event gathered 800 talented young artists from seven states, including major cities like Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Delhi, and Jaipur, who competed to bring their creative visions to life.
The event was inaugurated by Amit Krishn Gulati, an award-winning industrial designer, educator, and co-founder of Incubis, one of India’s pioneering architecture and design firms. Addressing nearly 2000 attendees, including participants, their families, and Globalart staff, Gulati emphasized that “there is no right or wrong in art; art is always right.” He highlighted how art fosters happiness and simplifies learning, encouraging children to develop skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity, which he views as essential for future success in a world increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence.
As the event began, Amit announced the theme for the young participants, aged 5 to 15: “One dream of mine which I wish comes true.” With two hours to capture their visions, these young artists painted with passion, pouring their dreams onto the canvas.
Dinesh Victor, Founder and Managing Director of SIP Academy India, shared that Globalart has trained 95,000 students in creative expression since 2005, with 11,000 currently enrolled in 145 centers across seven states. He urged participants to embrace unique thinking and pursue diverse interests.
Ajin Thong, Co-Founder and COO of Globalart Worldwide from Malaysia, also attended the event and motivated participants to keep growing creatively. Under his leadership, Globalart has engaged youth worldwide, with some children’s works displayed at the World Ministerial Conference in Bali, Indonesia, and featured by WWF for its “Save the Tiger” and Climate Change campaigns.
Kolor Champ ’24, which returned to Hyderabad for the first time in several years, provided a unique platform for children to express themselves freely and bring their imaginations to life in a national competition setting. The event continues to encourage India’s next generation to think, create, and grow beyond conventional limits, holding a Limca Book of Records entry for its impact on young artists.
