Pushpa Arunkumar, mother of Kannada superstar Rocking Star Yash, has officially entered the film industry as a producer with the launch of her own banner, PA Productions. Inspired by the legendary Parvathamma Rajkumar’s contributions to cinema, Smt. Pushpa aims to foster new talent and bring compelling stories to the screen.
Her maiden venture, “Kothalavadi”, stars acclaimed actor Pruthvi Ambaar in the lead and is helmed by promising director Sriraj. The film’s first look poster, released earlier, was met with a unanimously positive response, building strong anticipation for its release.
Taking the buzz a notch higher, the official teaser of “Kothalavadi” has now been unveiled. Packed with high-octane visuals, intense emotions, and commercial mass appeal, the teaser showcases Pruthvi Ambaar in a rugged new avatar. Cinematographer Karthik captures the raw energy of the film with striking visuals, while Abhinandan Kashyap’s gripping background score intensifies the drama, keeping viewers fully engaged during the 90-second teaser.
Set in the village of Kothalavadi in Gundlupet Taluk, Chamarajanagar district of Karnataka, the film remains true to its roots by incorporating the local dialect and authentic setting. This grounding in regional culture gives the film a strong sense of realism.

“Kothalavadi” boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Gopal Deshpande, Rajesh Nataranga, Avinash, Kavya Shaiva, Mansi Sudhir, Raghu Ramanakoppa, and Chethan Gandarva.
PA Productions is also introducing two fresh music talents through this film. Vikas Vasishta has composed a soulful track, while Abhinandan Kashyap has delivered a striking background score for the teaser. Dialogues are penned by Raghu Neenandalli, perfectly reflecting the regional tone. The editing is handled by Ramishetty Pavan, and the film’s posters are designed by Dinesh Ashok.
