365Telugu.com online news,Pune, February 12, 2025:Kalyani Strategic Systems Limited (KSSL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Bharat Forge Limited (NYSE: BFL), and L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen collaboration in advanced defense and security technology in India.
As part of this two-year agreement, both companies will work together to develop and deploy solutions in Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) technologies.
The partnership provides L3Harris with a strong local ally to support the development of India’s tactical communications network, enhancing an already extensive global footprint of over one million fielded radios across the U.S. Department of Defense and allied forces.

Enhancing National Security & Defense Capabilities
“This MOU lays the foundation for future partnerships, leveraging the combined strengths of L3Harris and KSSL to contribute to India’s national security,” said Dave Johnson, Vice President, International, L3Harris. “We are eager to accelerate the delivery of advanced tactical radios and defense equipment to the Indian Armed Forces.”
The U.S.-India Defense Industrial Cooperation framework actively promotes collaboration in high-tech defense capabilities, and this MOU aligns with the shared vision of innovation and self-reliance in the sector.

While primarily aimed at advancing India’s defense capabilities, the KSSL-L3Harris partnership also seeks to establish a robust global supply chain, ensuring reliable delivery of critical defense technologies for international markets.
L3Harris has maintained a presence in India for over 21 years, operating facilities in New Delhi and Bengaluru. Apart from supplying advanced tactical radios and electro-optic/infrared systems to the Indian Armed Forces, L3Harris also plays a crucial role in modernizing India’s telecommunications infrastructure, collaborating with the Airports Authority of India to upgrade aviation communication networks.
