Organized under the aegis of Lions International District 320A, the event took place at Lions Bhavan, Secunderabad, with Lion D.V.S. Lakshmi (MJF) as the chief guest.
The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Lion Geeta Deepa Reddy (MJF), Lion Prabhavati (MJF), Lion Dr. Hypno Padma Kamalakar, and G. Krishna Veni. Presiding over the event, Lion Rekha Zahurkar (MJF) from the Women’s Festival Committee shared her perspectives on women’s empowerment.
With the theme “Stree Samman – Mahila Utsav, Chuyae Aasman,” the event was filled with enthusiasm and purpose. Chief guest Lion D.V.S. Lakshmi emphasized that a woman’s progress signifies the growth of an entire family. She commended the initiative for providing a platform to recognize women’s strength and inspire future generations.
The festival highlighted the achievements of remarkable women, including veteran actress Roja Ramani, and featured various engaging activities such as cooking competitions, cultural performances, games, and prize distributions. The celebration aimed to foster women’s confidence, creativity, and commitment to community service.
