365Telugu.com online news, Hyderabad, June 14, 2025: Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology (LIET) celebrated the grand success of “HackPrix: Season 2”, a flagship 36-hour national-level hackathon that witnessed tremendous growth and participation in its second edition.

With over 3,000 student registrations from more than 85 cities across India and 550+ participants, HackPrix Season 2 has positioned itself as one of the largest hackathons conducted by an engineering college in India. Participants traveled from distant corners, including North and North-East India, to compete and collaborate on cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning, embedded systems, and data science.

A major highlight of this year’s hackathon was the participation of over 100 female students, who developed AI-driven solutions focused on women-centric issues a strong statement on promoting diversity and social impact through technology.

Mr. Tauseef Ahmed, Vice Chairman of LIET, expressed his enthusiasm over the event’s success:

HackPrix Season 2 offered a prize pool exceeding ₹1.25 lakhs, with awards distributed across various categories for innovation, creativity, and execution. Participants were also provided free accommodation and meals on campus, creating a focused and collaborative environment throughout the 36-hour challenge.

The event was meticulously organized by the student community at LIET, with strong support from the management and faculty.
