The announcement was made at the ongoing World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025 at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai.
This strategic partnership is inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s WAVES 2025 initiative, which seeks to establish India as a global content creation hub. The collaboration was unveiled in the presence of key dignitaries including Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Union Minister of State for I&B L. Murugan.
Dr. Allirajah Subaskaran, Chairman of Lyca Group, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration:
