365Telugu.com online news,New Delhi, April 12th, 2025: In a significant boost to India’s ‘Make in India’ initiative, Mahindra Aerostructures Pvt. Ltd. (MASPL), a part of the Mahindra Group, has secured a prestigious contract from Airbus Helicopters to manufacture and assemble the main fuselage of the H130 light single-engine helicopter. This marks a landmark moment for Indian aerospace manufacturing and reinforces Mahindra’s growing role in the global aerospace supply chain.
The contract was formalized in the presence of several dignitaries, including Shri Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, Hon’ble Minister of Civil Aviation, Shri Vumlunmang Vualnam, Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Rémi Maillard, President and Managing Director of Airbus in India and South Asia, and Dr. Anish Shah, Group CEO & MD, Mahindra Group.

As per the agreement, Mahindra will produce the H130’s main fuselage assembly at its Indian facility, with industrialization beginning immediately. The first fuselage is expected to be delivered to Airbus Helicopters’ European facility by March 2027.
