365Telugu.com online news,Mumbai, April 1, 2025: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M), a leader in India’s automotive sector, has reported a remarkable performance in March 2025, with total sales of 83,894 vehicles, marking a 23% increase from the previous year, including exports.
In the Utility Vehicles (UV) segment, Mahindra sold 48,048 units domestically, reflecting an 18% growth. Including exports, the company sold a total of 50,835 SUVs. Meanwhile, commercial vehicle sales for March stood at 23,951 units.
The company closed the fiscal year with its highest-ever SUV sales, reaching 551,487 units, a 20% growth year-on-year. Additionally, Mahindra recorded the highest-ever Vahan registrations for the year, showing a 20% increase from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025, while maintaining dealer inventory levels within normal ranges.

Some of the company’s key accomplishments this year include maintaining its position as the No. 1 SUV player and No. 2 passenger vehicle manufacturer by revenue. Mahindra also captured over 50% market share in the LCV<3.5T segment and saw a 41% growth in its international operations. Furthermore, Mahindra became the only Indian automobile company to achieve the DJSI Index world leader status.

Veejay Nakra, President of the Automotive Division at M&M Ltd., stated, “In March, we achieved a total of 48,048 SUV sales, reflecting an 18% growth, and a total of 83,894 vehicle sales, marking a 23% increase. We also began deliveries of our Electric Origin SUVs, which are seeing continued strong demand. The year closed on a very positive note, with over 5 lakh SUVs sold in the domestic market for the first time in our history.”
