Mahindra Farm Equipment Sector Achieves Record-Breaking Sales in FY25 with 407,094 Units Sold

365Telugu.com online news,Mumbai, April 1, 2025: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s Farm Equipment Sector (FES), a key division of the Mahindra Group, has announced its tractor sales performance for March 2025, along with achieving its highest-ever annual sales in FY25.

In March 2025, domestic tractor sales reached 32,582 units, a significant increase from 24,276 units sold in March 2024.

Overall tractor sales (Domestic + Exports) for March 2025 totaled 34,934 units, compared to 26,024 units in the same month last year. Exports for March accounted for 2,352 units.

Reflecting on the March performance, Hemant Sikka, President of the Farm Equipment Sector at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., stated, “We sold 32,582 tractors in the domestic market during March 2025, reflecting a 34% year-on-year growth. The tractor industry has been buoyed by favorable weather, strong rabi crop outlook, good reservoir levels, and favorable terms of trade for farmers.

The harvest season has kicked off in northern regions, and we expect it to continue smoothly across the country. Delivery momentum surged in the final week of March due to the festivities, and we anticipate this trend to continue in Q1 FY26, driven by a very strong rabi crop harvest and better cash flow for farmers. On the export front, we sold 2,352 tractors, marking a 35% growth compared to last year.”

Talking about Mahindra’s performance for FY25, Hemant added, “We’ve achieved the highest-ever tractor sales in FY25, with a growth of 12%. This success is largely attributed to strong retail sales nationwide and the lowest-ever inventory levels at the dealer channel.”
