365telugu.com online news,MUMBAI,December 31st,2025: Mahindra Susten, a prominent Independent Power Producer (IPP) in the renewable energy sector, has announced the successful commissioning of 560 MWp of solar power projects during the 2025 calendar year.

This achievement marks a significant turnaround for the company’s portfolio following its strategic sale of 1.54 GWp of assets in 2024. The move reinforces Mahindra Susten’s “capital-light” business model while solidifying its leadership in large-scale utility projects.

Strategic Projects in Gujarat and Rajasthan

The newly added capacity is split equally between two high-output facilities:

  • Gujarat Project (280 MWp): Supplies power to Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL).
  • Rajasthan Project (280 MWp): Supplies power to Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (RUVNL).

Both projects are backed by 25-year long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), ensuring stable green energy supply to state grids for over two decades.

Advanced Technology and Scale

Spanning nearly 2,000 acres, these plants utilize cutting-edge solar technology to maximize efficiency:

  • N-Type TOPCon Bifacial Modules: These advanced panels capture sunlight from both sides.
  • High-Efficiency Infrastructure: Integrated with dry-cleaning solutions and high-performance inverters to boost energy yield.
  • Grid Integration: Power is evacuated through 220 kV substations to ensure seamless connectivity with high-voltage state grids.

The combined projects are expected to generate approximately 1,000 million units (MUs) of clean electricity annually.

Safety and Execution Excellence

Mahindra Susten highlighted its rigorous project management, completing the installations with over 2.9 million safe man-hours. The construction phase utilized approximately 12,400 tons of steel and 2,600 km of cabling, employing a peak workforce of 1,000 personnel.

“This milestone reflects our commitment to high-quality, large-scale renewable assets,” said Avinash Rao, MD & CEO of Mahindra Susten. “We are deepening our presence across solar, wind, and hybrid projects to support India’s national clean energy targets.”
