365telugu.com online news,New Delhi, August 4, 2025: Mahindra University celebrated its 4th Annual Convocation Ceremony today at its Bahadurpally campus in Hyderabad, awarding degrees to 956 graduates, including 943 students from various undergraduate and postgraduate programs and 13 PhD scholars across the Schools of Engineering, Management, Law, and Education.

The convocation was graced by Mr. G.V. Prasad, Co-Chairman and Managing Director, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, as the Chief Guest. Mr. Anand Mahindra, Chancellor of Mahindra University and Chairman of the Mahindra Group, presided over the ceremony. Also present were Mr. Mohit Joshi, Member, Board of Management, Mahindra University, and CEO & MD, Tech Mahindra; Dr. Yajulu Medury, Vice Chancellor, and senior faculty members.

In his address, Mr. G.V. Prasad encouraged graduates to embrace collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. “As you step into the world, build communities that break barriers and thrive on learning. Growth comes from shared experiences, resilience, and challenging self-imposed limits,” he said, emphasizing the importance of openness and adaptability in facing real-world challenges.

Mr. Anand Mahindra, in an inspiring keynote, reminded students of the university’s mission — to nurture “citizens FOR and OF a better world.” He urged them to embody compassion, ethics, and critical thinking while also taking responsibility to shape a just, inclusive, and sustainable future. “The power of belief and decisive action can transform not just your life but the world around you,” he said.

Highlighting the university’s academic and infrastructural progress, Vice Chancellor Dr. Yajulu Medury remarked, “At Mahindra University, we are committed to shaping visionary minds that question convention, imagine boldly, and build with purpose. Our students are not merely career-ready—they are world-ready.”

This convocation also marked a milestone as it celebrated the first graduating cohorts of several programs: MBA, LLB, MA, and B.Tech in Nanotechnology.

Mr. Mohit Joshi, reflecting on the integration of academia and industry, said, “Mahindra University thrives on cross-disciplinary thinking and innovation. Our partnership with Tech Mahindra highlights our focus on relevance, agility, and value-driven education for the future.”

The day also saw the inauguration of Mahindra University’s new Biotechnology Laboratories by Mr. G.V. Prasad and Mr. Anand Mahindra. On August 2, the Centre for Risk Management was inaugurated by Mr. Mahindra, reinforcing the university’s strong emphasis on research, innovation, and real-world application.
