The event was attended by Shri Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, and Chief Guest Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Union Minister for Agriculture, Farmers’ Welfare, and Rural Development.
Mahindra’s New Sustainable Tractor Line-up
At the expo, Mahindra presented its latest innovations aimed at advancing clean and efficient farm mechanisation. Key highlights include:

- CNG/CBG Tractor:
Built on the Yuvo Tech+ platform, this tractor can operate on CNG, compressed biogas (CBG), and dual fuel (Diesel–CNG), offering flexibility and reduced operating costs. - Ethanol Flex Fuel Tractor Engine:
A new-generation flex-fuel engine compatible with ethanol sourced from sugarcane, maize, crop residue, plant stubble, and other agri-based materials, supporting cleaner and more sustainable farming practices. - Electric Tractor:
Developed on the Mahindra OJA global lightweight platform, the electric tractor delivers instant torque, improved efficiency, lower running costs, and fast-charging capabilities.
All the showcased technologies have been developed at Mahindra Research Valley (MRV), Chennai, reflecting the company’s decades-long leadership in advanced engine and clean-fuel innovation.
