Earlier the Utsava idols of Swami and Ammavaru were paraded on the four Mada streets before reaching the Pushkarini.
Sri Malayappa and his consorts took five rounds in the flower, electrical decorated glimmering float amidst Mangala vadyam, Veda parayanams by Veda pundits and sankeetans by the Annamacharya project artists.
