The government is bringing new rules to curb pollution and carbon emissions. The second phase of Real Time Driving Emission (RDE) BS-VI will be implemented from April 1.

Vehicles that do not comply with the new rules will not be sold. Due to this, sales of many cars including Maruti Alto, Honda Cars WRV and Hyundai i20 diesel version may stop.

Toll tax: Increase up to 7 percent..

Junk Policy: 15 years old vehicles will be removed.

To reduce the pollution caused by vehicles and increase the fuel efficiency of vehicles, the Central Government will implement the Vehicle Junk Policy from April 1. Under this, preparations are being made to send 15-year-old vehicles to the garbage dumps of the country.

The government has made it clear which vehicles are going to be cancelled. Vehicles sent for scrap are recycled. Metal, rubber, glass and other materials which are reused in the manufacture of vehicles are obtained from it. Under this scheme, if someone scraps his vehicles and buys a new vehicle to replace it, the new vehicle will get a road tax exemption of up to 25 per cent.

UP: The vehicles will be sold at Rs.22 per kg.

If you sell the vehicle to a used goods store in UP, the price per kg is Rs.22. In this, only 65 percent of the total weight of the vehicle is considered as the actual weight and only 90 percent of it is paid.
