The MG Cyberster, the world’s fastest MG roadster, has set a historic record by achieving the fastest 0-100 kmph acceleration in just 3.2 seconds at Rajasthan’s Sambhar Salt Lake.
This remarkable feat has been officially recognized by the Asia Book of Records and the India Book of Records.
This record-breaking run was set by Mira Erda, India’s first female racer to achieve international success in Formula 4. The achievement continues MG’s rich motorsport heritage, which dates back to 1931, when the Magic Midget became the first 750cc car to exceed 100 mph (103.13 mph).
MG further solidified its name in speed history with the EX181 in 1957, which reached 245.64 mph, later surpassing it with a 254.91 mph top speed in 1959 at the Bonneville Salt Flats.
