The CA student and son of a motor mechanic impressed both the audience and judges with his extraordinary musical performances, securing the prestigious title along with a cash prize of ₹10 lakh.

Having recently cleared his CA intermediate exams, Nazeeruddin now embarks on another significant milestone-lending his voice in the much-anticipated Pawan Kalyan-starrer OG. His journey in the competition was defined by consistent excellence, earning him widespread admiration.

The grand finale saw Anirudh Suswaram finishing as the runner-up, receiving ₹3 lakh, while GV Shri Kerthi took third place, winning ₹2 lakh. The show, which spanned nearly 26 weeks of fierce competition, was judged by a panel of esteemed musicians: Thaman S, Geetha Madhuri, and Karthik, who lauded the high caliber of talent showcased this season.

Geetha Madhuri expressed her thoughts on the season, stating, “This season was nothing short of a musical celebration, filled with exceptionally talented contestants. Choosing finalists was a difficult task, and each elimination was heart-wrenching.”

Nazeeruddin’s Journey
Born on November 2, 2004, in Tadepalligudem, Nazeeruddin is the son of motor mechanic Shaik Baji and Madeena Beebi, who passed away a year ago. His sister, Vahida Rehman, has been his support system since their mother’s demise.

Nazeeruddin completed his schooling at Vignana Vikas E.M School, continued his studies at GSR E.M School, and pursued his Junior College and CA Intermediate at Sri Medha Commerce College in Guntur.

His love for music was nurtured by his maternal grandparents, Kasim Saheb and Fatima Bee, who played pivotal roles in his musical development. His grandmother, a Carnatic music teacher, and his exposure to the songs of the legendary Ghantasala, laid the foundation for his passion.

Nazeeruddin credits his success to the guidance and musical influence of his family, particularly his grandfather, Kasim garu, whose love for Ghantasala remains unwavering.

Reflecting on his victory, Nazeeruddin shared, “My musical journey began when I was four years old, guided by my grandfather and his sister, whom I affectionately call Nani. They introduced me to both Carnatic and cinematic music. Winning this title is a dream come true. Performing in front of Thaman sir, Geetha Madhuri ma’am, and Karthik sir has been an honor.”

The Grand Finale
The competition, which began with over 15,000 aspiring singers, conducted its initial auditions in New Jersey and Hyderabad in May 2024. After weeks of eliminations and intense public voting, the final showdown featured the top five contestants: Anirudh Suswaram, Skanda, Keerthana, GV Shri Keerthi, and Nazeeruddin.

The grand finale was a spectacular affair, with the finalists dazzling the stage in vibrant attire, while the judges and contestants delivered special performances. Geetha Madhuri captivated the audience in a stunning red outfit, while judges Thaman S and Karthik also impressed with their musical acts.
