365telugu.com online news, India,December 24, 2025: IndiGo, India’s leading carrier, has announced the launch of direct flights connecting the National Capital, Delhi, with London Heathrow (LHR). Starting February 2, 2026, the airline will operate five weekly flights on this high-demand route, further strengthening its international network.
Enhanced Fleet and Cabin Experience
To service this route, IndiGo will deploy the Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, secured via a wet/damp lease from Norse Atlantic Airways. The aircraft will feature a dual-class configuration, offering:
IndiGoStretch: The airline’s premium business-style seating.
Economy Class: Providing the signature IndiGo “on-time” and hassle-free experience.

With this addition, IndiGo’s total frequency to London Heathrow will increase to 12 weekly flights, complementing its existing daily service from Mumbai.
Strengthening Global Connectivity
The Delhi-London service is the latest in a series of aggressive international expansions by IndiGo. Over the past year, the airline has added 10 new international destinations and over 30 new routes. The new London flight follows recent launches to Manchester, Bali, Krabi, Hanoi, and Guangzhou. IndiGo is also set to begin direct flights to Athens in January 2026.
