The study, which surveyed over 1,000 people in cities across the country, reveals that while many are providing financial support, they feel it is not enough.

Key Findings:

Top Concerns: 72% of respondents worry most about their parents’ health, while 68% are concerned about loneliness and social isolation.

Daily Anxiety: 54% of adult children admit they worry about their parents every single day, often because of the physical distance between them.

Financial Support: 46% of people regularly contribute to their parents’ expenses, and another 26% provide occasional financial help.

Emotional Burden: Despite their contributions, 57% feel they are not doing enough for their parents, highlighting the emotional cost of caregiving.

Need for Support: A significant 8 out of 10 respondents said they would welcome structured, reliable, and affordable caregiving support.

The survey also noted differences between city and small-town residents. Those in metropolitan cities were more concerned about loneliness (71%), while respondents in smaller towns were more worried about health emergencies (69%).
