365telugu.com online news,India,September 4th, 2025: Instagram has launched a brand-new microdrama series titled Party of Two, bringing a slice-of-life journey of two flatmates directly to reels. Packed with friendship, fun, quirky vibes, and heartwarming drama, this 7-episode series is exclusively available on @instagram and @metaindia.
The series follows the story of two Gen Z roommates with contrasting personalities, capturing their everyday highs and lows, and how it all plays out on Instagram. Starring in the lead roles are Nidhi Bhanushali (@_ninosaur), best known for Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and Sisterhood, alongside Sunakshi Grover (@sunakshigrover) of FLAMES fame.
Speaking about the series, Nidhi Bhanushali said, “The way we consume stories has changed. Phones are now a powerful medium for intimate storytelling, and vertical media is shaping this evolution. Being part of Party of Two felt personal and exciting, as the themes of friendship and self-expression resonate with me as a creator.”
Sunakshi Grover added, “It’s been a fun journey. The format is fresh, quick, and relatable, capturing the true essence of modern-day friendships. I’m sure audiences will connect with it instantly.”
A Meta spokesperson highlighted that the initiative aims to inspire Gen Z audiences to take creative risks and share their everyday experiences in new ways: “The byte-sized nature of microdramas on reels, combined with stories that reflect Gen Z’s reality, makes this format both engaging and relatable.”
