The baby, who was in a critical condition, received treatment and was completely cured. The child received free medical treatment at Niloufer Hospital for about a month.
A year ago, the parents from Sudan came to Hyderabad for IVF treatment to have a child. After undergoing IVF at a local corporate hospital, the woman gave birth to a baby boy. However, immediately after birth, doctors identified that the baby had blood infections, brain infections, and lung-related issues.
Due to the baby’s critical condition, Niloufer Hospital doctors provided treatment by keeping the child in the ICU for six days. As the Sudanese couple had run out of funds, they referred the baby to Niloufer Hospital. There, the doctors provided free treatment and helped the baby fully recover.
After the baby recovered, he was discharged on Tuesday. The Sudanese mother (43 years old) expressed her gratitude to the doctors. She said, “We came to Hyderabad for IVF to have children. However, after the delivery, the baby’s condition worsened, and Niloufer doctors gave new life to our child.”
The team of doctors who treated the critically ill baby were congratulated by the hospital superintendent Dr. Ravi Kumar and Health & Family Welfare Commissioner R.V. Karnan.
