365telugu.com online news,Hyderabad, November 3, 2025: India’s largest iron ore producer, NMDC, wrapped up Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW) 2025 with a high-impact valedictory ceremony at its Hyderabad headquarters, reinforcing the theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.”

The week-long observance, held from October 27 to November 1, 2025, featured integrity pledges, essay and elocution contests, digital awareness drives, and community outreach through Gram Sabhas at project sites in Bailadila, Donimalai, Panna, and Nagarnar.

A three-month vigilance campaign, launched on August 18 and running until November 17, includes capacity-building sessions by serving and retired government officials, and mandatory iGOT online training modules on vigilance administration for NMDC officers.

At the closing event on November 1, Major General Ajay Misra, GOC, Telangana & Andhra Sub Area, delivered the keynote:

“Integrity is not a virtue displayed under watch—it is the essence of character. Vigilance is not suspicion; it’s building a culture where honesty is instinctive and trust is the foundation.”

Shri Vinay Kumar, Director (Technical), hailed the Vigilance Department as a “catalyst for change”, emphasizing digital interventions and preventive mechanisms:

“We are building systems where decisions are objective, transparent, and accountable—this is the truest form of integrity.”

Shri C Neelakanta Reddy, Chief Vigilance Officer, underscored outreach to schools and communities:

“Vigilance is a living principle. Through education and awareness, we are sowing the seeds of a corruption-free society.”

Senior leadership—including Shri Joydeep Dasgupta (Director, Production) and Smt. Priyadarshini (Director, Personnel)—attended the ceremony, where winners of quizzes, drawing, and essay contests were felicitated.

NMDC reaffirmed its commitment to preventive vigilance, ethical governance, and sustainable growth as a shared organizational and societal responsibility.
