Created in collaboration with Ogilvy, this campaign equips citizens with practical strategies to counter common digital fraud tactics and safeguard their online transactions.

Empowering Users for Secure Digital Transactions

With UPI (Unified Payments Interface) providing a safe platform for millions, NPCI aims to further empower users to stay vigilant against fraud attempts. The campaign, fronted by acclaimed actor Pankaj Tripathi, emphasizes that while UPI itself is secure, awareness is crucial to prevent fraud. Through six relatable ad films, the campaign will showcase scams like SMS phishing and “too-good-to-be-true” money schemes, educating users on recognizing and avoiding such ploys.

Broad Language Reach for Nationwide Impact

The films are available in 11 Indian languages, ensuring accessibility across the country. The campaign’s first two films, “Moongfaliwala” and “Paanwala,” feature Pankaj Tripathi in memorable roles to highlight scam scenarios and advise viewers to stay cautious against fraudsters who exploit trust and kindness.
