South India contributes to almost 30 per cent of OMRON’s sales which they plan to escalate to 40 per cent in FY 2021-22.OMRON emphasizes on the fact that they are the only brand in country offering such a wide range of home monitoring devices, which also makes them the preferred choice of brand with almost 54 per cent market share in the digital BP monitoring segment across the country as its advanced sensing technology ensures safety and accuracy through advanced IntelliSense and IntelliWrap technology.All the products of OMRON are clinically validated according to the standards of Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation Standard (AAMI) and/or European Society of Hypertension International Protocol (ESH).With the expansion here, OMRON aims for a turnover of Rs 221 Cr in FY 21-22 which is a 10 per cent hike over the previous year.The company has also been paying significant attention towards its marketing & communications strategy that comprises of TV Commercials and digital exposures across the country for a period of 12 months to create awareness about home BP monitoring and nebulization.
