365Telugu.com Online News, March 17, 2025: “Believing that we can write what we have studied is the ultimate remedy for exam fear,” said Dr. Hypno Padma Kamlakar, President of the Progressive Psychologists Association of India. She conducted an awareness session on exam preparation for 10th-grade students at Baglingampally Minority Gurukul School on Monday, under the guidance of the school’s Headmistress, Vanishree.
During her session, Dr. Padma Kamlakar addressed the different emotions students experience as exams approach—some feel anxious, others feel scared, and a few even find it boring. However, she emphasized that there is one simple solution to all these fears: “I can write what I have studied!” She encouraged students to view exams not as something to be feared, but as a challenge to overcome.

Smart Preparation for Success
Dr. Padma Kamlakar advised students that with proper preparation and smart study techniques, no exam would feel difficult. She urged them to keep their minds calm before exams and trust in what they have learned. “If you study with anxiety, you will lose focus. Instead, study with a relaxed mind and practice writing what you have learned,” she said.
She also provided practical tips:
- Read the questions carefully before answering.
- Plan your answers before writing.
- Ensure proper sleep and a healthy diet, as a lack of rest and nutrition can leave the brain fatigued.
- Stay positive and self-motivated with affirmations like “I have studied well!” “I can write well!” “I will succeed!”—which can help dissolve exam fear in minutes.
She concluded by reminding students that practice is the foundation of success and urged them to approach exams with confidence and determination. “Your future is in your hands,” she said, encouraging students to bid farewell to stress and move forward with self-belief.
The event was also attended by Dr. K. Vijaya Kumar, Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission, Lion P. Swaroopa Rani, and Jayashree.
