365telugu.com online news,September,26th,2025:Pawan Kalyan’s much-anticipated film OG has made a spectacular entry at the box office, raking in ₹154 crore worldwide on its opening day. This achievement makes OG the seventh biggest opener in Indian cinema history and the highest opening for a non-pan-India film, surpassing the first-day collections of notable releases such as Coolie, Leo, Jawan, and Animal.

Directed by Sujeeth, OG stars Pawan Kalyan as Ojas Gambheera, a gangster who returns to Mumbai after a decade to face rival crime lord Omi Bhau, played by Emraan Hashmi. The film also features Priyanka Mohan, Sriya Reddy, Arjun Das, and Prakash Raj in key roles.

On the domestic front, OG collected ₹20.25 crore from paid previews and ₹70.75 crore on its first day, totaling ₹91 crore net (over ₹100 crore gross). Overseas, the film earned approximately $3 million (₹26 crore) from paid premieres in the U.S., contributing to an estimated $6 million (₹50 crore) in international gross.

While the opening day numbers are impressive, OG fell just short of surpassing Salaar (₹158 crore) and KGF Chapter 2 (₹159 crore). The top three opening day records continue to be held by Pushpa 2: The Rise (₹274 crore), RRR (₹223 crore), and Baahubali 2 (₹215 crore).
