365Telugu.com online nws,Visakhapatnam,January 8th,2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation for several key projects worth over Rs 2 lakh crore in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday evening. This will be the Prime Minister’s first visit to Andhra Pradesh since the TDP-led NDA government took charge in the state.

During his visit, PM Modi will conduct a roadshow and address a public meeting, where he will virtually launch various initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable growth and infrastructure development, particularly in North Andhra Pradesh. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan will accompany him during the roadshow and the public meeting.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to arrive at INS Dega at 4:15 p.m. Following his arrival, he will kick off the roadshow, which will start from Siripuram Cross Roads and continue to AU Engineering College, where the public meeting will take place.

The Prime Minister’s visit will be attended by several dignitaries, including Governor S. Abdul Nazeer, Chief Minister Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu, Union Minister of State Bhupati Raju Srinivasa Varma, state ministers, BJP MP, and state party president Purandeswari. This marks PM Modi’s second visit to the state since assuming office for his third term.

PM Modi was initially scheduled to visit Visakhapatnam on November 29, but the visit was postponed due to a cyclone alert. Extensive arrangements have been made by the state government for the visit.

The TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP have mobilized support from across North Andhra Pradesh for the roadshow and public meeting, expecting a turnout of around 80,000 people for the roadshow and nearly 2 lakh people for the public meeting.

The roadshow will begin at 4:45 p.m. from Venkatadri Vantillu in Siripuram, and the public meeting will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. PM Modi is expected to leave the venue at 6:50 p.m. and return to the air station around 7:15 p.m. before departing for Bhubaneswar.

Key projects to be launched include the foundation stone for the South Coast Railway Zone (SCoR) headquarters in Visakhapatnam, addressing the long-pending demand under the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act of 2014.

The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation for NTPC Green Energy Limited’s Green Hydrogen Hub at Pudimadaka in Atchutapuram, Anakapalle district. This Rs 1.85 lakh crore project, to be developed under the National Green Hydrogen Mission, will have a renewable energy capacity of 20 gigawatts and produce 1,500 tonnes of green hydrogen per day, along with 7,500 tonnes of green hydrogen derivatives, targeting export markets.

Additionally, PM Modi will inaugurate road and railway projects across Andhra Pradesh valued at Rs 19,500 crore. He will also lay the foundation for a bulk drug park at Nakkapalli, Anakapalle district, which will have an investment of Rs 1,438.89 crore and create thousands of jobs.

The Krishnapatnam Industrial Area (KRIS City) in Tirupati district will also be launched, with an investment of Rs 10,500 crore and the potential to generate nearly 100,000 direct and indirect jobs.
