The event brought together project professionals from 11 chapters across South Asia on India’s first solar-roofed cycling track.
The cyclathon, which saw over 100 participants, started at 5:30 AM with a 2-kilometer ride, followed by a tree plantation drive at Forest Trek Park. This initiative highlights PMI’s dedication to environmental responsibility and community involvement, emphasizing the need for cleaner air and greener projects.
The Broader Vision of Sustainability
Amit Goyal, Managing Director for South Asia at PMI, stated that today’s project leaders have a responsibility that goes beyond deadlines. He sees them as “stewards of impact” who can drive innovation and create a positive, lasting imprint on the planet.

Goyal added that the “One Ride” event is more than just a cycling event; it symbolizes PMI’s commitment to sustainability and aligning with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
