Following the success of its first season, the new installment unfolds against the vibrant backdrop of the Ashtakaali festival, an annual celebration in the fictional village of Kaalipattanam, Tamil Nadu.
Produced by Wallwatcher Films and created by renowned filmmakers Pushkar and Gayatri, the second season is directed by Bramma and Sarjun KM.

The series sees the return of Kathir and Aishwarya Rajesh in lead roles, alongside a stellar ensemble cast featuring Lal, Saravanan, Gouri Kishan, Monisha Blessy, Samyuktha Vishwanathan, Shrisha, Abhirami Bose, Nikhila Sankar, Rini, Kalaivani Bhaskar, and Ashwini Nambiar.
Additionally, Manjima Mohan and Kayal Chandran make special appearances.
Picking up from the intense climax of Season 1, the new season follows Nandini (Aishwarya Rajesh) as she faces an uncertain future in prison, while Sakkarai (Kathir) arrives in a mysterious village with a dark past.
However, the village is soon engulfed in turmoil when an unexpected murder casts a sinister shadow, unraveling deep secrets and unsettling its people.
Premiering exclusively on Prime Video across 240+ countries and territories, Suzhal—The Vortex Season 2 will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada, with English subtitles.
