365telugu.com online news,New Delhi, October 30, 2025: The Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying (DAHD), under the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, conducted a cleanliness drive at the Animal Quarantine & Certification Services (AQCS) in New Delhi on October 29, 2025, as part of Special Campaign 5.0.

The event was led by Union Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying and Panchayati Raj, Prof. S.P. Singh Baghel, with DAHD Secretary Shri Naresh Pal Gangwar and senior officials in attendance.

Prof. Baghel inspected the AQCS facilities, commending their cleanliness, upkeep, and efficient infrastructure. He highlighted AQCS’s critical role as India’s gateway for safe animal imports, ensuring rigorous quarantine and health checks for all consignments.

The cleanliness drive saw enthusiastic participation from AQCS staff, who cleaned the premises, disposed of obsolete materials, and reorganized workspaces.

Under Special Campaign 5.0, DAHD has made significant strides in addressing pending tasks, reviewing files, and enhancing cleanliness across its offices. The campaign also generated ₹5,54,753 through the disposal of scrap and redundant items.

Key achievements include:

  • MP References: 11 out of 15 resolved
  • Parliamentary Assurances: 3 out of 5 addressed
  • State Government References: All 8 resolved
  • Public Grievances: All 214 cleared
  • PMO References: All 3 resolved
  • Public Grievance Appeals: 27 out of 35 addressed
  • Easing of Rules/Processes: 1 completed
  • Physical Files Reviewed: All 24,645 completed
  • e-Files Reviewed: 562 out of 680 completed
  • Cleanliness of Sites: All 221 sites cleaned

A tree plantation drive, part of the #EkPedMaaKeNaam initiative, was also held, with a sapling planted to honor nature and motherhood. In his address, Prof. Baghel stressed the urgency of combating global warming and the importance of collective environmental responsibility.
