365telugu.com online news,New Delhi, 22 October, 2025: Principal Scientific Adviser (PSA) Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood launched three key publications under the AI for India 2030 initiative, spearheaded by the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Risk India (C4IR), World Economic Forum, in the presence of S. Krishnan (Secretary, MeitY), S.C.L. Das (Secretary, MSME), Dr. Parvinder Maini (Scientific Secretary, OPSA), and Mr. Anindya Banerjee (Advisor, Ministry of Agriculture). The publications are:
Future Farming in India: AI Playbook for Agriculture
Transforming Small Businesses: An AI Playbook for India’s SMEs
Shaping the AI Sandbox Ecosystem for the Intelligent Age: White Paper
Developed under OPSA and MeitY guidance with a multi-stakeholder Advisory Council, the AI for India 2030 initiative promotes responsible, inclusive, and scalable AI to strengthen India’s digital economy.
Prof. Sood emphasized, “These playbooks provide actionable strategies to make AI inclusive and impactful for farmers, entrepreneurs, and communities. I urge stakeholders to implement these roadmaps for national growth.”
The Agriculture Playbook outlines scaling AI to enhance farmers’ yields, risk management, and market access using the IMPACT AI framework, leveraging local networks and regional languages for seamless integration into farming decisions.

The SME Playbook offers a roadmap for MSMEs to improve productivity, credit access, and market reach through AI, using a cluster-based approach with tools like experience centers, AI maturity indices, and marketplaces.
Das noted, “AI use cases for MSMEs are gaining momentum, and we look forward to collaborating for real-world impact.”
The AI Sandbox White Paper provides frameworks for secure, reliable AI testing environments aligned with India’s priorities. Shri Krishnan highlighted, “These reports showcase a path forward, unlocking efficiencies and prosperity for farmers through AI.”
Dr. Maini underscored the role of OPSA’s Science and Technology Clusters in supporting capacity building and knowledge sharing, with the upcoming International S&T Clusters Conference in December 2025 to focus on AI collaboration. Mr. Banerjee added, “AI applications like digital crop surveys can enhance accuracy and insights in agriculture.”
The roadmap ahead involves state governments, industry, and financiers forming coalitions to fund projects, with a monitoring framework tracking AI adoption, productivity, and cost reductions. A knowledge platform will share best practices and success stories to scale AI solutions across India.
