365telugu.com online news,8th,August,2025:Ajinkya Rahane recently opened up about Mohammed Siraj’s debut Test series during India’s 2020–21 tour of Australia. Siraj was introduced into the bowling attack later than he expected, which visibly frustrated him. Speaking on his YouTube channel, Rahane recalled,
“He was angry because I had brought him on to bowl quite late.”

Rahane believes that this initial anger helped unlock Siraj’s true potential. He noted that Siraj’s aggression and fiery attitude remain key to his bowling approach, often starting his spells with full intensity, already “warmed up by the time he delivers his first ball.”

Siraj’s progress has been especially noticeable during the recent England series, where he stepped up in the absence of Jasprit Bumrah. Over five Tests, Siraj bowled more than 185 overs and took a memorable six-wicket haul in England’s second Test, demonstrating his growing impact on the team.
