365Telugu.com online news,Hyderabad, 28 May 2025: In a major move to boost road safety and emergency readiness, Rapido, India’s largest ride-sharing platform, has partnered with the Society for Advanced Clinical and Therapeutic Emergency Medicine (SACTEM) to provide Basic Life Support (BLS) training to more than 1,000 captains across 16 cities in India.
This initiative, launched on World Emergency Medicine Day, highlights the crucial role first responders play in saving lives during emergencies.
Being constantly present on the roads, Rapido captains are often the first witnesses to accidents and health emergencies. Through this program, captains will receive training in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid, equipping them to provide immediate assistance until professional medical help arrives.
