Speaking about the initiative, Mrs. Nita Ambani, Founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, had earlier highlighted education as central to the Foundation’s mission. On the 90th birth anniversary of Reliance Founder-Chairman Shri Dhirubhai Ambani in 2022, she announced 50,000 additional scholarships over the next decade—making this one of the most ambitious scholarship commitments in India.

Over the past 29 years, Reliance has supported more than 28,000 scholarships, staying true to Shri Dhirubhai Ambani’s belief that investing in youth is the surest way to drive national progress. Alumni of this programme continue to excel academically and professionally while contributing meaningfully to society.
