Regional Performance: High Stakes in AP & Telangana
Jio emerged as the top choice for consumers in the circle, adding 110,054 net wireless subscribers in a single month. This growth brought its regional mobile user base to 31.88 million.
The competitive landscape in the circle showed a widening gap:

Airtel: +32,500 subscribers
Vodafone Idea: -167,000 subscribers (Net loss)
A major catalyst for this growth was the aggressive expansion of Fixed Wireless Access (FWA). Jio’s 5G FWA base in the region climbed to nearly 6.5 lakh users, while its Unlicensed Band Radio (UBR) technology saw a sharp monthly increase of over 31,000 subscribers.

The Future of Connectivity
Jio’s strategy of combining affordable 5G mobile services with high-speed home internet (FWA) appears to be paying off. By leading in wireline additions and nearly doubling its UBR FWA base in certain segments, the company has transitioned from a mobile-first provider to an all-encompassing digital utility for half of India’s connected population.
