According to the latest subscribers’ report from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Jio led the charge with an impressive 69,930 net additions in the Telugu States. Jio’s wireline subscriber count rose from 17,49,696 in September 2024 to 18,19,626 in October 2024, reflecting a 4% month-on-month growth. During the same period, Bharti Airtel saw a growth of 15,655 subscribers, while Vodafone Idea experienced a decline in its wireline subscriber base. Vodafone Idea’s numbers dropped from 1,03,875 in September 2024 to 92,835 in October 2024, resulting in a loss of 11,040 subscribers. Other telecom players like V-CON Mobile & Infra Pvt. Ltd., Tata Tele., and Quadrant maintained stable or marginally growing subscriber bases.
