(RNLIC), one of India’s leading life insurers, announced its audited financial results for the year ending March 31, 2025, reporting a steady performance across core business metrics and reaffirming its commitment to customer-centricity and operational excellence.
The company posted a Profit Before Tax (PBT) of ₹247 crore, marking a significant 25% increase from ₹198 crore in FY2023-24. RNLIC’s Assets Under Management (AUM) rose by 9% to ₹38,725 crore, reflecting sustained business growth. Total Premium Income reached ₹5,711 crore, up from ₹5,537 crore, and New Business Premium (NBP) stood at ₹1,245 crore.
RNLIC maintained a robust Solvency Ratio of 235%, well above the regulatory requirement, highlighting its financial stability and prudent capital management.

- Claim Settlement Ratio of 98.9%, with ₹3,523 crore paid to approximately 5.4 lakh customers, an 8% increase year-over-year.
- 13th-month persistency ratio by premium stood at 80.8%, showcasing strong customer trust.
- The active advisor base expanded by 13% to nearly 69,000 advisors, enhancing reach and distribution.
- RNLIC declared bonuses worth ₹351 crore to 5.2 lakh participating policyholders, marking the 24th consecutive year of bonus payouts.
- The company’s Embedded Value rose to ₹7,397 crore, up from ₹6,885 crore, driven by business consistency and operational efficiency.
