  • Community Kitchens: Dry ration support to ensure immediate nourishment for communities.
  • Safe Drinking Water: Deployment of portable water filters in waterlogged areas to provide clean water.

Shelter Support

  • Emergency Shelter Kits: Tarpaulins, groundsheets, mosquito nets, ropes, and bedding distributed to protect displaced families.

Public Health Risk Management

  • Health Awareness: Sessions to educate communities on preventing post-flood disease outbreaks.
  • Sanitation Kits: Hygiene essentials provided to every affected household.

Livestock and Wildlife Support

  • Livestock Care: Veterinary camps set up by Reliance Foundation and Vantara, in partnership with the Animal Husbandry Department, to treat distressed livestock. 3,000 silage bundles distributed to support nearly 5,000 cattle.
  • Wildlife Rescue: Vantara’s 50+ member expert team, equipped with advanced rescue gear, is treating displaced animals and ensuring dignified scientific cremation for deceased animals to prevent disease outbreaks.

Reliance teams are working tirelessly with District Administrations, the Animal Husbandry Department, and local panchayats to deliver immediate relief and plan for medium-term recovery. The Jio Punjab team, in coordination with NDRF, has restored 100% network connectivity across flood-affected areas to ensure seamless communication.

Reliance Retail, alongside Reliance Foundation and volunteers, is distributing carefully curated kits containing 21 essential items for nutrition and hygiene, targeting the most affected communities identified through panchayats.
